This will be the only post that Michael writes himself.
It's only one day until I fly out to Utah to the Missionary Training Center (MTC). I was supposed to go to the Brazil MTC, but I don't have my visa yet, so I'm goin' to Utah first.
I will be spending two years away from home with little to no contact with friends and family serving my church and the people around me. It's going to be hard work and long hours, but I'm excited to do it. Also, I need to do it Portuguese. It's gonna be tough, but I'm going to learn and grow a lot. I know that this is what I need to be doing and I will benefit so much from it.
I know that Jesus is our Savior, MY Savior. I know that what I will be teaching is true and I know that it benefits our lives.
