This week has been pretty crazy. I left the CTM on Tuesday flying to João Pessoa. I was picked up by President. I was dropped off at the mission office and met my new companion, Elder Gannaway. We stayed overnight becuase I had to go to the Policia Federal the next morning. I went there and after like 2 hours of waiting, they got to me. My companion spoke to them, because I didn't understand a word but we eventually got everything worked out and I can stay in Brazil for my entire mission. I rode a bus to my area and got to work. We've met with a bunch of people. I'm not sure who's an investigator and who's a member but I'm hoping it'll come. Missionary work is very different here. People are marked for baptism the first time you meet them. For like 2 weeks in the future. It's crazy. I've been getting a lot better at Portuguese but I still don't understand much. My companion does most of the teaching but I'm starting to butt in sometimes. It's, like, really hot here. And it gets dark at 5:30 every day. And it's fairly nice when it's dark. But the sun is brutal. I've been using lots of sunscreen. If you want to send me any mail (please), send it to the João Pessoa mission home. I have no idea what the address is but I'll send it in my next letter. Sorry. Anyways, I'm out of time.
Love you all, sending a very sweaty and sunburt hug.
